Aug 10, 2012 NPE gave the location as C: windows system32 drivers mbamswissarmy.sys. So what I wanted to know is this a malware file which I need to remove or is it just a conflict between Malwarebytes and NIS. Basically am I ok to delete it without damaging windows or malwarebytes. Swissarmy.dll is part of Malwarebytes SwissArmy and developed by Malwarebytes according to the Swissarmy.dll version information. Swissarmy.dll's description is ' Malwarebytes SwissArmy ' Swissarmy.dll is digitally signed by Malwarebytes Corporation. Swissarmy.dll is usually located in the 'c:Program FilesMalwarebytesAnti-MalwareLKG' folder.

To delete a locked file:
- Right-click on the file and select Send To -> Remove on Next Reboot on the menu.
- Restart your computer.
The file will be deleted on restart.
To remove all registry references to a mbamswissarmy.sys malware file:
- On the Windows Start menu, click Run.
- In the Open box, type regedit and click OK. The Registry Editor window opens.
- On the Edit menu, select Find.
